Vial, bacteriostatic water and a lint-free wipe on a laboratory bench

Reconstitution setup · vial, bacteriostatic water, wipe

Reconstitution in three steps

  1. A SRYLAB vial next to bacteriostatic water and a capped syringe on a laboratory bench01

    Let it reach room temperature

Take the vial and the bacteriostatic water out of the fridge and wait a few minutes before opening anything.

  2. Water running down the inside wall of a vial onto the powder02

Add water down the inside wall

Slowly, never straight onto the powder. Swirl gently until the solution is clear. Do not shake.

  3. A reconstituted vial standing in a cold rack03

    Keep it cold

Refrigerate at 2 to 8 °C after reconstitution and do not freeze the solution. Sealed vials keep for months refrigerated.

Guides

  • Sealed lyophilised vials: refrigerate at 2 to 8 °C, protected from light. For storage beyond a few months, minus 20 °C is recommended.
  • Vials tolerate the transit period at ambient temperature. Refrigerate on arrival.
  • After reconstitution: keep refrigerated at 2 to 8 °C. Do not freeze reconstituted solution.
